The short answer
Wild.AI and Phasly both adapt training to female physiology. Wild.AI is built around a readiness score, wearables like Garmin, Oura and Strava, and training and fuelling recommendations, which suits runners, cyclists and endurance athletes. Phasly is built for strength and everyday training. Phoebe, an AI coach you can talk to, plans your workouts, learns your pattern and adapts each session, or you build them yourself from a library of 290+ exercises. You log sets, reps and weights. Phasly also covers pregnancy, postpartum and PMOS (PCOS), which Wild.AI does not list. Phasly launches in November 2026 on iOS and Android.

Different athletes, different tools
Wild.AI’s strength is data in. It pulls from Garmin, Oura, Strava and other wearables, turns that and your check-in into a readiness score, and adjusts training and fuelling. If your week is runs and rides tracked on a watch, that is a real advantage, and Phasly does not connect to those wearables today.
Phasly’s strength is the session itself. In Wild.AI a session is a sport type, a duration and an intensity, and full workout plans are sold separately. In Phasly you see the exact exercises, sets and reps, swap anything you don’t like, and log the weight you actually lifted. Next time Phoebe knows where you left off.
A coach you can talk to
Phoebe reads your phase, your check-in, your symptoms and your training history, then builds a workout or adjusts your own plan. You can tell her your knee hurts, that you only have 30 minutes or that you hate burpees, and the plan changes. She also sends a weekly digest written for your mode, from a cycle week to a menopause week.
Every stage, including the ones most apps skip
Wild.AI covers the menstrual cycle, birth control, perimenopause and menopause well. Phasly adds pregnancy with week-by-week, conservative training, postpartum with recovery weeks and the pelvic floor first, and PMOS (PCOS) with data-driven planning that never guesses an ovulation day.
What the science says
A 2026 randomized trial found that timing training volume to cycle phases did not build more muscle or strength. Total volume did. Both apps lean on how you feel each day, which is the honest version of cycle-aware training. More in Does cycle syncing actually work?
Which one should you choose?
Choose Wild.AI if you are an endurance athlete who lives on a Garmin or Oura and wants readiness and fuelling built from that data.
Choose Phasly if you lift or train at home or in the studio, want to choose and log your exercises, want an AI coach to talk to, or are pregnant, postpartum or living with PMOS.
Common questions
Is Phasly a Wild.AI alternative?
Yes, especially if you lift. Phasly logs sets and weights, lets you choose exercises from a 290+ library and has an AI coach you can chat with. If you mainly run or ride with a Garmin or Oura, Wild.AI's wearable focus may suit you better.
Does Wild.AI work in pregnancy or postpartum?
As of 24 October 2026 Wild.AI lists the menstrual cycle, birth control, perimenopause and menopause. Pregnancy, postpartum and PCOS are not mentioned. Phasly has a mode for each.
Do both apps work on birth control?
Yes. Wild.AI says it supports around 150 types of birth control. Phasly has modes for the pill, patch or ring, the hormonal IUD, the implant or shot and the copper IUD, and plans training for each.
