We're careful here, because the science deserves honesty. There's a growing body of peer-reviewed research on how ovarian hormones (estrogen and progesterone) influence strength, recovery, energy, sleep and injury risk across the menstrual cycle — but the findings vary between individuals, and no one should overpromise a one-size-fits-all "cycle protocol." So Phasly treats the research as a starting framework, not a rulebook. Every recommendation is cross-referenced with published studies and reviewed by medical professionals, and then it's personalised to you.
